I have a movie in a 16:9 like ratio and when I burn it to a vcd, it makes it 4:3. How can I get it to make it 16:9 and not make it all narrow looking?
Do I have to edit it and put in black spaces on top and bottom?
Or is there an easer way to do this?
THX for your help.![]()

during encoding, if you're using TMPGEnc, under Setting, and the Advanced tab - set "Sorce Aspect Ratio" to 16:9 (PAL or NTSC, whichever is appropriate), and set "Video Arrange Method" to "Full Screen (keep aspect ratio). I don't think there is a way to add 16:9 flags after encoding, but I may be wrong.
