I have got a few SVCD films and am having a problem watching them on my Phillips DVD711 player. When watching them the sound is about 2 seconds faster than the movement of the actors mouth.
My friend has tried the film and it plays perfect on his DVD player. I have tried VCD films and these are fine on my player just the odd SVCD.
Can anyone help me??
Could it be the different MPEG versions??
How would I get around converting the film on my PC
Any help would be great[/b]

This site was down when I looked today but try again.
This was where I got an upgrade of the firmware for my Philips dvd player and since then I haven't had any problems with playback
