  1. Hey there,
I have a DVD-Ram drive, and I'm trying to burn some home-made movies onto DVDR's with Nero. Out of 10 burns, only 2 were successful. The other 8 end up erroring out at about 93%, and Nero gives me some SCSI error (even though that it's not a SCSI drive). I've been staying pretty up to date with Nero's latest updates, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Anyone else run into this problem, and if so, what did you do to get over this burning problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

  2. i too had the same problem on my vivastar rs-111 dvd-r drive m8, i searched a lot of forums to try to find out why this was happening. there seems to be a lot of people out there suffering the same problem. i tried most of the suggestions that i came across from updating the firmware and updating the aspi but i still had the same problem. 1 of the suggestions i came across was that if the drive was working fine at 1 time and nothing has changed ie newly installed software or change of blank media, then the drive is knackered. my drive was only a month old so i took it back to the shop where they exchanged for another and i haven't looked back since. i hope this was of some help

  3. I also kept getting the scsi error msg after I updated the firmware on my DVD burner. I reverted abck to the older firmware and it works fine.
