Hi folks,
Just bought the AKAI DHT300 DVD player home theater system, I have an RCA 27' television with no svideo. My cable box has a place for svideo, but they saw fit not to put it in??
Only solution is to buy a t.v. with svideo???
Thanks

Your Cable box S-video is for output ONLY.
If your DVD player has Composite RCA outputs (yellow, white & red) & your TV has composite RCA inputs you are ok to watch ... but you'd benefit from your tv having S-video or Component RCA (red, green, & blue) .... but only you can justify additional purchase.
