    When you inport a 16:9 movie will Maestro automatically create the title set to that ratio and if not what's the trick?

    right click on the spot marked with a arrow to set properties for the movie :




    right click on project name in left window (list view) and select properties ..

    this (below) window will pop up and set your menu settings here:
