  1. Hi there,

I am new to the scene and I have downloaded a couple of avi files for a movie. They play quite well on my pc monitor. What i do is transfer these avi files to my xbox harddrive, and from there i play them on my tv (61" projection). Now i can understand that because of the size of the tv, small imperfections in the avi files will be much more noticeable. But when i play the avi files on the tv, its pretty awful. So my question is, do i need to convert or encode these avi files before i play them on the xbox? I really don't need to burn them into vcd's because i don't need the physical cd, i just transfer the files onto the xbox hard drive. Maybe i need to go throught a conversion process? any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks

No, Mostly AVI and mostly good old DivX 3.11 Alpha (Low motion) audio is sometimes AC3 and sometimes MP2, most DVD rips are around 700MB +..

In Kazaa type DVD rips ! or use the verified file at fasttrackmovies.com with sig2dat The new way forward >>>>>>
