Hi there,
I am using DVD2SVCD and CCE to convert my DVD's to SVCD's. As I live in Europe, I always add permanent subtitles to my SVCD's.
I am thrilled about DVD2SVCD, but I am not impressed about the quality of the subs. After checking around on this forum, and the Doom9 forum, I found out that I can use another subtitle program.
At the moment I extract my subs to SRT (text) format, edit them, and save them in SSA format.
When I start DVd2SVCD, I select "edit the avisynth script file" and add two line to the script file, so my subs will be added. I my opinion the result is much better as the standard subs in that program.
Now to my question: Where must I insert both lines in the script file? I also use bicubic resize. Must I write them before or after resizing?
What fontsize can I use?
At the moment I add them after the resize. The maximum fontsize is 10. (any bigger, and the subs will be too big) When I write the lines before the resize, can I use a larger fontsize?
Thanks,
