I wanted to convert the animatrix trailer onto vcd to show my friends so i tried TMpgencode but i got no audio so i tried the "mov to avi" conversion but it said no audio so i read up on the FAQ page and it talked about Audio Protect on some movies so use "Total Recorder" and then put it back together as a mpeg but the problem is after i install "Total Recorder" all the movies i play on quicktime the audio is all choppy so is there any way to fix that problem or another way to converting the .mov file.

Thx.... but can you give me a little more info on how to export the movie into a wav using quicktime.
-
open animatrix in quicktime pro
under the file tab, select export
the picture above will show
click the export and scroll down to "sound to wave"
save it -
if you don,t have quicktime pro, use eo video-
http://www.eo-video.com/
it works well also
