Philips DVD 722 and a SVCD on a CD-R 90min

I have a SVCD mpg file thath is about 840MB and I would like to put it on a 90 min CD-R. I know that you can put about 890MB of a SVCD mpg file on a 90 min CD-R.
The question is will this 90min CD-R with a SVCD mpg file of 840MB play in my Philips DVD 722 standalone DVD player.
