    I've downloaded some movies of the net recently and only found out after that you cannot fast forward or do anything to the progress. This gets a bit annoying when you've watched half the film and then had to power off.
    Any help is welcome

    I have the same problem. Thats why i put ASF right up there with RM. They suck.

    I've sorted the problem now, if anyone else has this problem then all you have to do is download ASF tools from this site in the software bit. Then when ur in the program just open the dodgy file and click on repair, it's dead simple.

    Hhhmmm... I just use Windows Media Player and move the scrolling bar to fast forward... It works too for *.asf movies!
