hi im fairly new to the converting process but have been dealing with computers and divx and so on for sometime. anyways i recently purchased a new DVD player [got tired of using my crappy PS2 for dvds] and the guy told me it supported SVCD but unfortunatly it only supports VCD, so my problem as you can probably guess is...whats a program i can use that will let me convert SVCD to VCD. i have used VCDGear to get the SVCD off the CD i burned and now i cannot load it in TMPEnc so whats another program i could use to convert that file i now i have [that i got from using VCD gear which is a SVCD] how can i make it a VCD??
P.S. i know i can use Nero and convert it that way...but i also have to do some editing to it before i burn it so that wont work.
thanks

Make sure you have the audio codec's, but try this
Select options > environmental settings
click the VFAPI plug-in tab
right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4
