  1. Hello everyone-I am ready to fork out $45 for the Ulead Video Studio 6 upgrade(I have VS5). I wouldn't pay $90 for it, I got the VS5 with my ATI card so it's reasonable. I have heard that Video Studio 6 is way better than Video Studio 5, I was hoping to get opinions from people who have used both. I have Premiere for big jobs, the Video Studio is great for quick jobs and for intenet clips. Any opinions?
    Thanks in advance-Ron B

  2. One of the improvements it the ability to add Overlay Tracks, you can add video to video like pip effect or have it fill the whole screen and face it over other video track. Also the Titles feature is improved i believe, I have used Ulead Studio 6 and 5 alot but after trying Pinnacles Studio 8 I have switched over to Pinnacle for now.

  3. Videostudio 6 has a totally new interface, much better than the ugly interface of Ulead Videostudio 3, 4, and 5. Also, there is a new mpeg engine in Videostudio 6, allowing editing of mpeg files without having to reencode the whole file. An upgrade to Videostudio 6 is worth $50 in my book.

  4. Thanks for your opinions. I think I'll give VS6 a try. Pinnacle has some hardware issues and I think it won't open some video files made by other applications. I have tons of those, so I'm a little sketched to try Pinnacle.
