    hi, i ripped a movie, and then using dvdx i started to convert it, everthing goes well, but when i play my divx, the sound and the video doesnt match, and it skips, and lets just say its not right, something is messed up and i could really use some step by step instructions on how to solve this problem, please help in any way, thank u.

    Did you save the AVI with uncompressed video and audio ? is your system capable of keeping up ?

    Change the video output to a DivX codec, try DivX 3.11 Alpha low motion with a bitrate of 900 for good quality. Also set audio to MP3, this may work better than uncompressed or lame

    Press stop after a few min, and test
