    Hello All:

I am trying to author an SVCD w/ MMT. I installed Media Pipe and all of that jazz, converted my sound to .wav w/ QTPro, converted the .mov to .mpv with Media Pipe, and am no attempting to Mux. My terminal window/error is as follows:

I also got an error when trying to run mp2enc, but the mp2 was the full length, so I didn't think anything of it. Any suggestions/help? Much thanks in advance.
Oh — I am running 10.2 with the new(est) version of the Dev. Tools ...

  2. Does "LD50:" mean anything to you, like the name of a drive or partition. Commands to unix don't like special charaters in the path. Anyway, mplex can't find "Tom and Geri.mpv". Keep the path to MMT and .mpv and .mp2 as simple as possible, spaces are OK.

    Thanks RNC.

LD50 is my box's name, and I screwed around with the paths, and got the Mux to work. I do, however, have another problem:

The playback is stuttering and choppy at times. I started with a analog-dv capture, exported from iMovie to iDVD, opened QTPro and enabled the high quality flag for video

Do the playback problems occur due to the dv file being huge and having alot of info that mpeg2enc has to discard or "interperet? What is the best export option for raw dv — should I export differently (than iDVD)? Is anyone else having these issues?

Thanks for all of the help.
