  1. Here is my problem i can download clips at my uni of films in avi (divx)format the size is usual 280mb. But in order for me to bring it home it has to be cut up in to pieces to fit on my zip disks(as there are no cd burners in uni only zip 100mb drive)
    does anyone know of softwere to do this ?????
    it would help me out alot

  2. no problemo amigo!

    what you want to do is RAR (ie Winrar, a zip-like program) the program into multi parts! so lets say you got a 300 meg file. you can set winrar (e.z. to use btw) to make a .rar (ie. zip-like file) in 3, 100 meg parts. Then it will all fit on your zip disks. the file will end up being like movie.rar movie.r00 movie.r01 3 parts, 100 megs each. then go home, copy the files into a directory and extract with winrar and voila - your file in on yur computer!..
