  1. Ok I got about 12 individual mpeg vcd ready music video clips ready to be burned onto a VCD. I want to make a VCD menu system for the videos. SO I got the full version of ULEAD DVD MOVIE FACTORY only to find out that it only wants ONE big mpeg clip that I can use to cut up for the sections.

ie. does this mean that all my 12 videos now have to be pasted in as one big ass mpeg clip to work with it? Then divide it all up?

Or is there a better program out there that allows me to import each one of my clips into the program and make my menu items correspond accordingly?

    Thanks in advance,

  4. Download VCDEasy and take the time to learn how to use it. Then you can be as creative as you want.

    agreed.

it will take some more time (ie if you want transisitons between menus, etc, you'll have to make them all seperate) and you'll have to spend time making sure that all the videos play and loop at the right times, and when you press next/prev/number buttons it goes to the right vid clips, etc.... but it allows much more flexibility and personalization.

I create all my menu's, etc, and animations in Macromedia Flash or Adobe, then export them and encode them to .mpeg in TMPGenc, and then of course load all the files into VCD easy and arrange them and apply the corrent interactivity settings, chapters, etc, to make it do what I want!

At first it will seem very complicated, but just experiment and bit and it gets really easy to create very good looking menus w/ transitions, etc.

....Plus VCDeasy is free!! I find that most free programs have just as many capabilities, if not more than, commericalially available products.
