  1. I have DVD it se and i like it a lot, but i really want more features, like motion menus stuff. I also would like a program that can import a .avi in dv format.
Any ideas DVD complete looks ok.
    Which one?

    Thanks in advance

  2. DVD Workshop has more features than DVDIt SE or PE, ie, you can edit the clips you bring in, has motion menu backgrounds and motion menu buttons, has menu templates and alignment tool for when you make menu from scratch, will encode your AVI, or you can encode outside and just pass it through. It's still pretty easy to use. There's a demo at ulead.com.

  3. The pros and cons for all the authoring programs is very subjective and I highly recommend you download the trial versions. I have DVD WorkShop and it is very flexible. You can roll your own menus. On the other hand with DVD Compete all the menu templates are fixed and is there for very limiting. DVD Complete will be coming out with a document describing their scripting language used in the menus so you can create your own. DVDIT PE offers AC3 audio. It all depends on what you want.
