I have been using the Toolame plug-in with TMPgEnc with great success. Just recently it has started acting up. I was making a copy of We Were Soldiers wchich I split in 2 for batch encoding. I called the files 1Soldiers and 2Soldiers. 1Soldiers stopped before the temporal wave file using Toolame was made and packed in, but 2Soldiers made a normal temporal wave file and went on to copy perfectly.

    Any ideas?

  2. I tried using Toolame and it drove me nuts. ( That's my excuse anyway ) It was prone to random crashes no matter what I did.

Switched to SCMPX and have never had a problem with it. Sounds great too!

Is there any need to use a seperate mp2 encoder with tmpeg.
I think tmpegs audio is just fine. Please let me know if there are any advantages to be obtained using toolame etc.
