i just finished encoding with these kdvd templates that everybody swears by them...i can watch the .mpg file perfect on wmp. but when i try to work on it in ulead it tells me that it is not comliant...the only changes that i made with the kdvd template is that i chose non interlace(progressive) because otherwise my audio gets all screwd up.
im trying to author this .mpg ...put some chapter in and burn it to a dvd-r but for that i need to author it and ulead wont accept it....i also tried spruceup(trial version) it also had problems with this file.
any ideas out there...

You may try to go back to the KVCD stie and ask this question. I have used DVDiT with the templates with great results. Sorry I am not up to speed on the Ulead products, maybe someone eles can help on that. I have used the KDVD and KVCD templates with great results on just about everything. I know he just (13 Sept) completed a test template that will process up to 180 min on one 80 CD with STANDARD VCD results, so you may want to try them as well..
