Building a VCD

Hi, am trying to build a VCD with VCDeasy (I've done that several times with success) but this time the burned CD doesn't work in the DVD player, neither the .DAT (VCD 2.0) file works in the media player, look like codifyed (!?), but the mpeg file is ok!

Any idea which may be the problem ? tx.

Perhaps try different media.
Especially if you already know how to make a good one.

Also if you have the original files on you hard drive from a successful vcd, try to burn another one with the same media. This might prove the media to be bad.
