They're your run of the mill generic DVD-R's. 1x burn on AO3 (1.90 firmware)

I've tested them in Apex players (AD500, 500W, 1100, 1500, 5131, 660, 703). Works in PS2. Didn't play corectly in Emerson (VHS + DVD), nor 2 Toshiba's (haven't gotten any media to play correctly in those palyers though).

Then again Pioneer, TDK, Mitsui media didn't work in the Emerson, or the Toshiba's.

Anything that plays Princo or Ritek media will play these.

Use Neato's core labels to label the center of the disc.

Too expensive / capacity. I used those with good results when it was worthwhile to buy one double instead of 2 1 sided discs. Now 1 sided discs are about 90c/each, while those are $2.6. To be worthwhile, they would need to be about $1.8.
They work well otherwise with the Pioneer A03 and Apex or Raite players.

  4. These work very well as I have used tons of them. They are more expensive (per side) as dragan said but for me it is woth it. It is basically a convenience issue as to wether or not you want 2 or 1 disc to contain large movies.
