s-video and sound how to sync

I just got a ti4200 card and was wondering how to capture the video and sound from my tv or vcr? if using s-video How do I get the sound out and if I do (after someone tells me how) how do I sync it all together?

video goes to your vid card and audio goes to your audio card ..

but there is lag ussually in the audio card called latency that may cause the cap to be out of sync ... not to worry .. follow the guides hee on how to sync it up and i suggest doing it before you convert it to something else .. (if its a problem at all)
