    Is that possible? I mean: burn .AVI with nero as video CD and play on DVD player.

    yes, it's possible. if you burn it as a VCD, yes. because nero automatically encodes the .avi to mpg(vcd) format. hope this helps.

    Thanx a lot! How long does it take for nero to encode avi2mpg? And will these mpgs increase in size?
