    Hi folks, you all have helped me in the past. I just switched to TMPGEnc to do my encoding. (I was using ReMpeg) With ReMpeg I started having problem's with the video just freezing when being played back on my Sony Standalone DVD Player. After switching to TMPGenc, I have done like 6 or so movies with no freezing problems. Tonight I'm watching Changing Lanes, and @ 1 hour 18 minutes into the movie, it just pauses... now it didn't do this when being played back on my computer.

    Someone please help with some ideas, is it TMPGENC, NERO, MEDIA or my player. This was done BTW on a DVD+RW, (I always test the copy on RW before making a coaster) Any thoughts??? Anyone, please help.

    This sounds more like a player issue. Try it on an Apex DVD Player. If it freezes on it, it's something else.
