hi,
I have done some catures lately with Virtual Dib and Ulead.
With both programs I am not gettin audio with the clips.
They are AVI clips.
I have a Audigy Platinum with front panel inputs.
I can hear the audio when I record the clip but when I try to play back there is no audio.
When I open the audio editor in Ulead there is no audio data.
Does that sound like a sound card problem?
Thanks

I have the same problem with Virtualdub but with Ulead I can go in and select line input for the audio source and it captures the sound also. Not sure how to get Virtualdub to select which sound card input to use.

There should be a little speaker icon, in the system tray. Right click on that and select "line in" as the recording input.
Now, open Virtualdub and record away. -
I had the exact same problem you are having earlier this week when I tried to do my first captures with VirtualDub and MSP6.0. In my case I had misread the front of the panel and was using Line 2 instead of Auxillary 2 as the input source. You can change it in the Creative Mixer.
