  1. I installed the Ulead DVD workshop trial a while back and I onyl used it like once. I;ve been really busy and when i went back to it, it said my trial time was up. Well I uninstalled it and reinstalled it because I didnt really get to mess with it enough to spend the bucks on it, but now it keeps giving me the same info.

Is there a way around this?

  3. I had the exact same problem.
Tried uninstalling and uninstalling does not work.
    I have XP pro.
I think they are blind to the problem.
One of the reasons that I did not buy the product.

  4. The reason for this is simple, they don't want to provide the possibility to try the software for ever. You simply cannot reinstall the software again after the trial period is over. During installation there are a few things which can occur:
    1. a secret registry entry which isn't obviuos to find is being written but you can trace registry changes with software you can download from download.com. Do a scan before an installation and one afterwards and you know what has been changed.
    2. somewhere in the system a file is being saved, if this file excists reinstallation of the trial will fail. because of the then thousends of files on your system, you never know which file this is.

If you want a more "indefinitive trial" you have to install a crack, or buy the product

  5. OOPs,
I meant to say that I tried uninstalling and it would not un install.
I realize you can't use the trial for ever.
