  1. I have a Wedding Video that I have created in Ulead Media Studio 6.5 that I would like to have a Writing animation showing just the title being written.
I was wondering if there is a way to create text being written by using type in MSP 6.5 (like CG Infinity) or do I have to use another program to do this.

In other words is there a plugin of effect that would allow me to use one of my script fonts to animate it and make it appear that it is being handwritten instead of typed.

I would like to use this effect to use onmy opening wedding video by having "Our Wedding Day" appear to beng written on the screen.

Thanks in advance for the help.

well you can do this in a few programs like vegas , but its real easy in swish , which is an acually a flash editor. its cheap and easy to use and an excellent program .. http://www.swishzone.com/index.php

the $20 lite version can do this - though the whole program is only $50

you just export as an AVI instead of a flash animation ..

another way -- if you dont want to spend any money - is to use any freeware paint program or what comes w/ windows and write your whole txt on a 720 x 480 on a solid backgorund pic and keep masking off (erasing) parts of it in little steps and exporting each time as a jpeg or bmp in a sequance numbered like 0100.bmp , 0099.bmp , 0098.bmp and so forth (it is backwards as your first export will be your last picture in the sequance, if you start at 1000 you have plenty of room.
    ) ..

you will end up w/ a 100+ bmp or jpeg (bmp would be better) or more and you encode them to a mpeg file with TMPGenc (just load the first and TMPGenc will find the rest if in same dir. you can go more or less number of frames ..
you can preview it in TMPGenc by using the source range control and sliding the slider back and forth .. that way you can see if you missed a step in masking and go back and fix it before final encoding
