PLZ HELP CANNOT FIGURE OUT (s)vcd (CONVERSION)

I need some help with the conversion of avi to svcd. i have tried all the encoders from http://www.vcdhelp.com. They Just dont work. with TMPGEnc i cannot see the image being converted, pretty much when its done, there is no video only audio. With LSX-MPEG 3.5 i have tried converting but the audio is all wrong. I converted the file to wav and that didn't work either. Cinema Lite wont work for me b/c i dont have a p3 processor.

U should be able to see the avi being encoded in Tmpge encoder...make sure under the option...preview menu is set to show a preview...

If you are playing back the mpeg 2 stream (SVCD)....what are u using to play it back?......The video might actually be there but u can not see it?

I convert AVI to SVCD all the time.....I cannot think what your problem would be without more information...like where did the avi file come from...I assume the avi file plays ok.....what is the resolution of the avi...frame rate etc....

sorry i havent replyied, i didnt hit the email when responded to box. Here are the specs
resolution : 352X240
Kazaa is how i download the movie, and when i did vcd, i would use avi2vcd and would decompress the audio.
If you or anyone has anymore tips please help!
