hi i have some files thare a tiny big over 700mb's like 702 and 704(both files are .avi files) .....so when i try and use nero it comes up not enough sapce on cd-r.....only way possbile of writing it, is if u finalize the cd, so i clicked yes to finalze ...but when i try and play cd it comes up invaild or something like that.... I know that there is way to overburn on a cd-r but can anybody tell me if i need to check a option on nero etc.......my cd burner is only from december .....etc.... hopefully someone here can help me

do u mean in iso format and change it to mode 2/xa ....and if what im about to do is right, is that the only thing i need to change.

NO.
You cannot burn CD-ROMs in MODE2 Form2 sectors.
If you burn the CD-ROM in MODE2/XA, you are still burning in Form1 sectors. That is, your max. user capacity is still about 700 MB.
You will have to overburn. It should be okay as long as your media and drive can handle it.

yes there is an option in nero to overburn and yes you have to enable it for it to work.

However, if you are burning an AVI file onto a CD as a CD-ROM, you will only be able to fit about 720 MB overburning at best.
