  1. I've just started using TMPGenc. My system is a 1.2ghz with Windows XP Pro, Divx 5 and TMPGenc latest version.
I have a DIVX file of 700mb, 72 minutes long.
The weird thing is it says it is 23fps and in a weird format (576 x 240) I tried running the convert and TMPGenc came up with a constant, recurring error (just loads of numbers on an "error" popup)

    Any ideas?

  2. I've found out!

Using Nero, I simply copied the AVI (with Codecs installed) onto the VCD template.
    It worked first time.

    HOWEVER,
I've found that whilst trying to encode it, it jumps! It goes for a few seconds and then there seems to be a few milliseconds hold and then it continues. It's watchable as my TV can decode 4:3 and stretch it into 16:9 (ok it's not 2.35:1 but better)
