I recently upgraded my system to WindowsXP, and in addition to that, I upgraded both Pinnacle Studio 7 and my Studio DC10+ drivers to their most current version. Unfortunately, now I can't use the DC10+ within VirtualDub, and the DC10+ MJPEG codec has also disappeared from VDub's codec list.
Is there any way to get the card to work with VDub, or should I even be trying?

XP uses the newer DirectShow drivers. The only way to even try it is to search for and install the DirectShow/VFW wrapper. Not sure how well it works, but do a search on that and more info should come up.

I bought a DC10+ and the card just arrived today.... i'll do my tests and we can change some ideas!
Hey, guys? What do you think about making an especific forum to meet DC10+ users!?!
I could to make the VBB stuff! -
one more question: are you using do drivers that comes with Studio 7 CD or what?
I have the drivers that comes with Studio 8 and i can't find drivers at that crazy pinnaclesys website.
If you have a better way to download updated drivers, please tell me. -
Good, another person who will trying out the DC10+. Most everyone seems to love the card for what it excels at, (VHS capture and also output), but it's hard as hell to find info on even attempting real-time capture. You said you did real-time before in the other thread, but since you just got your DC10, I assume it was with another card.
What is it you are looking for? If you already have the Studio8 drivers, what else do you need? Just want the Studio7 drivers? (Probably are the same thing.) I swear I got the link off of here, but I looked in the archives again yesterday for an hour and couldn't find the post if it's there, but *somewhere* someone posted a link to Pinnacle download site for the newest Studio7. So that would have everything including drivers, I would think. (My card won't get here till next week according to UPS. grrrr.)
I downloaded Studio7 off of there. Looks like a regular Pinnacle download page, so I don't know. I tried backin up on the url but the straight link was the only way I could get back to the page. It must be the whole program because it's like 110 megs. Now that Studio8 is out, I wouldn't be surprised if they are giving Studio7 away free like that, but, I don't know.
I can dig up the link if you want (and have a fast connection). It should still be listed in my download program's history.
Counting the days till I can attempt real-time mpeg1 on it.... -
Yeh, i was using a Pixelview PlayTV Pro... that card sux!
I'm liking my new DC10+, but there are this questions... almost the same questions. I would like to use VDub, but now i know this software really can't detect the DC10+ drivers when using WinXP. If someone find a fix, please post here!
