Hi,
what resolution does 8mm (PAL) videorecorders use? It would feel like a waist of storage space if I capured it to, lets say 720 x 576 if it actually was something more like 320 x 240 (as it probably is I guess). Is there a standare for all 8mm cameras or does it depend on the manufacturer? My camera is (...an old one) a Sony ccd-f350e and it records in PAL.
I have one more question, it may sound very "newbie" but actually I have never done this before. If I want to record the film with as little quality losses as possible no matter how much storagespace the film will take on my computer, what formate should I use? AVI?
Thanks in advance!
