  4. Ok. thank's guys...
Actually, I want like this: My VHS player have AV out with Yellow, White and Red cables (ist it that call RCA? Or it composite? I still confuse). Usually i use this connection to capture with Dazzle DVC II.
But I heard S-Video cables is better than composite, and may capture card have S-Video in. So, can I make hookup like this:
VCR (yellow, white, red cables) ----S Video converter (not VHS converter, sorry )---S Video cable----capture card.

If can, i want to know how the S Video converter look like?
    And what is Radio Shack?

    Thank's for all your infos...

  5. RCA is what the jacks are called, and composite is the kind of video signal that is normally fed through the yellow jack.

Before you're going to spend (waste) money, you'll have to keep on thing in mind: Any conversion of an analogue signal causes at least slight degradation. A composite signal cannot be improved in quality, no matter what it is converted into.

So if your capture card has a 'composite in' jack as well, stay with a good quality composite cable (with RCA jacks) and avoid any adaptors or converters.

    Have a nice one,

  6. furqon lw,

Radio Shack is a chain of stores in the USA that sells all kinds of electronic equipment such as TV, computers, VCR's, cables and jacks such as RCA, composite, and all kinds of accessories for your electronic equipment.
