  1. Hi all,
I recently upgraded from Millenium to Windows 2000. Part of my reason for doing this was so that I could go NTFS on my drives and not have to worry about the 2gig file size limit. (The other was for added stability, but so far Win2000 has actually been a lot less stable than Millenium; but that's another forum.)
Anyway, I am now unable to capture video with Virtualdub. When I start it up then select "Capture AVI," it gives me a "Video device already in use" error, prompts me to choose another capture source (the only choice is nvidia WDM video capture),
then gives me an error, "Capture device was not detected,"
followed by, "Virtualdub can not connect to the desired driver. Trying all available drivers,"
followed by, "PANIC! Virtualdub can not connect to any capture drivers!"

My video card is a GeForce 2 Ti. I have tried reinstalling Virtualdub and my WDM & video drivers. I do not have anything hooked up to my computer that I know of that could be using the WDM/capture drivers. And I could capture just fine under Win ME.

Any idea what could be causing this, and how to remedy it?

Tried what was on that page, but I already had the files & keys in place. Any other suggestions?
