  1. In TMPG audio encoding there is channels mode there is dual channels does this give you Surround sound with Dolby Dolby or DTS 5.1? And what does Joint-Stereo mean? thanks

    tmpgenc can not give you dts or ac3 - you need a seperate encoder

  3. Hi thank you but what encode can I use to get the 5.1 sound and after I encode it will TMPG mix it back together so I can make my VOB files. Thanks!!!

    for a dolby 5:1 encoder you will need something like sf soft encode , the encoder that comes with scenarist or digigram or Nuendo w/ plug in ...

    then you will need a authoring program for dvd that suport 5:1 - namely scenarist or maestro
