According to all of the guides I have read, one of the first major steps before encoding should be to use virtualdub to scan for bad frames in the divx file. My question is how many bad frames are to many bad frames? Also, what does it mean when there are something like 350 good but undecodable frames. Furthermore, is there some way to figure out just where these bad frames are to determine if they are saved out if it will be a problem. Thanks for any help anyone may be able to provide.
