strange audio sync problem

i downloaded pitch black divx. the audio is fine all the way through until about 9 minutes to the end. to be specific the sound is in perfect sync not like the gradual type of unsync. at the part after riddic gets attacked by the monsters and the girl is helping him up the scene slows down as the monster grabs the girl. this is when the audio goes out of sync. the audio jumps from insync to 4-5 secs ahead of the video and stays out of sync by the same amount until the end which as i mentioned is about 9 more minutes. i tried 1st to stretch the audio and then to increase the frame rate. both semi-fixed the end but both through all the first part of the video out of sync. thanks for any help.

same thing happens to me with certain movies. The only way i was able to fix them is re encode the out of sync part and use audio gap correction to fix it. takes some time but works fine.
