    Hi,
    Recently i'm tried to capture video using VirtDub but there but there is no video image was capture. Anyone can help me????

  2. Can you give us some more information? What speed processor are you using? What are you capturing from - cable, video input, FireWire? What kind of compression are you using on the video?

  4. I have the same problem, Im using my mini DV JVC and I don't get any picture or sound. Im using a fire wire, I have 4.8 processor with 512 ram and 100 gig hard drive. I can capture with other programs but not with VD
    Just looking for the right button to push!

  5. Select File->Set Capture File and configure where you want to save your avi. Then Select Capture->Capture video. Hit Begin when you want to capture.

  6. I know that much.....its after that when nothing happens, all I get is a gray screen with dotes. Im running windows XP if that has anything to do with it.

  7. vdub doesn't support firewire cards, only analog like mine. I know that for a fact coz I tried it with my cousin's computer who has a firewire card and I used vdub to capture but it didn't work. Use other capture programs like adobe premiere 6, vegas video, pinnacle dv studio , etc.
