    I've read more than once about closed captions for VCD.

    Can someone please explain to me how to create and author these or even if players will show them?


    (I am not talking about switchable subtitles for SVCD here!)

    No, I'm not talking about DVD ripping.

    See the specifications for VCD 2.0.
