    I've only done two subbed movies- the first one was a DVD rip using DVD2SCVD (SVCD with selectable subtitles); I just enabled the Subtitle option in the "Subtitles" tab.
    The second was a Divx .AVI file (for a SVCD with permanent subtitles); for that one I loaded the .AVI file into VirtualDub, re-sized and used the subtitle filter to load the subtitle file, then frameserved to CCE.
