DVD RIP to DVD-R

Hello,
I just Ripped a DVD using smart ripper and what I want to know is can I just burn those ifo's and Vob's to a DVD-R and make it play in a stand alone player or do I have to Always convert it with tmpeg and author it then burn?
And is there a way to keep the original Title screen and chapters?
Because I hate making my own as they always look so generic.
Oh I am using ulead movie factory for authoring.
I also already know how to make a DVD using Smart ripper,DVD2AVI,Tmpeg,and Ulead.
So I just need to know the answers for the above questions I asked.

Just use dvd decrypter that the only proggy you need
