  1. Hi!
How can I convert Dolby Ac3-file into a Dolby Prologic? And can I add AC3-file into a XVCD? I hope somebody can help me with this problem...

  2. If you make your VCD with either FlaskMPEG or DVD2AVI, then it will automatically downmix the Dolby Digital (AC3 5.1) to a Dolby Surround stereo signal that will be decoded if you have a Pro Logic receiver. You don't have to do anything extra.

You cannot put AC3 (Dolby Digital) on a VCD, SVCD or XVCD. You could mux the AC3 as the audio track, but I will guarantee that it will not play on almost any player.

  3. My personal 2cents on this matter...download Azid's .ac3 decoder....it does Dolby Surround downmix that sounds better & has more options than DVD2AVI & Flask provide

Is there a GUI for that thing? I lost my little note on what to type in the command line.

  5. Azid GUI:

I haven't checked out this latest version. The older one wasn't the most intuitive on what the options do. I was having to check the command line parameters that it was generating against the azid readme file in order to figure it out. But, it does work and sound great once the options are right.
