  1. I have an AVI and when I try to open it in VDub so I can split it or cut,it says this error....

"Couldnt locate decompressor for format 'MP 42' (Microsoft high speed MPEG - 4 V2 "
"VirtualDub requires a video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video.
Direct Show codecs such as those used by windows Media Player, are not suitable"

    What does all this mean?
Is there another way I can split my AVI?

    Thanks in advance.

  3. No,the only one I have is the DIVX one.
If this is the case.Do I install the pack as normal or do I need to get rid of the DIVX one first?

    Thanks for your reply.

Load it normally, and do not worry about previous codecs.
    Hello.
