  1. Im capturing MPEG2 at 720x480 for DVD. My audio is set at 48KHz, 16 bit stereo. Im using a bitrate calculator to determine my bitrate, it wants to know what my audio bitrate is in KBITS. So, If Im capturing at 48KHz then what is my audio KBITS? Probably an easy question that I should know the answer to, but Im not having any luck figuring it out. Any help sure is appreciated.

    Thanks Boxingjunkie

  2. 48Khz is the frequency, nothing to do with the bitrate.
it could be any bitrate, but if you made a standard VCD/SVCD its probably 224 kbits.

Your capture program will set the bitrate - expect it to be in the neighborhood of 192kbps to 384kbps. The 48kHz is the SAMPLE rate - not the BIT rate. To find what you are set to, just look at the capture profile.
