ok... This has been a subject of interest to me for some time. I have read posts in order to define what 3:2 pulldown actually is. I understand that it is a way to encode 23 fps source material as 29.97 so that SVCDs will play back correctly in your DVD (?).
If this is correct, why would you need to enable this in MMC's SVCD templates? What material would it be useful for? If you are capturing a 23 FPS movie from DVD (for example) wouldn't the "soft" pulldown have already been accomplished within the DVD player.
So again, what should you use the pulldown in MMC for?
TIA!
TJD
