    has anyone ever had a problem of the burning software does not recognize the burning driver. in my case it is nero 5.5 and sony 40x drive

    I had a similar problem with my Samsung. I went out to Nero's site and got the latest patch. All is well now. If you haven't already you might need to download and install the patch.
