    How do I find out the source of my video file i.e 25fps or 29.97fps

    Loadit into TMPGEnc and read the properties at the bottom of the screen.

    before loading into TMPGEnc, you'd better open "new project" in order to clear old setting from default template.

    Double click to play it in WMP, then use right mouse on screen for statistics
