  4. I want to thank you. It works, but i've got another problem. I convert an .avi file with mpeg2 encod. After the conversion, i can't read the file with quicktime. Do i take mpeg1 encod to read it?

  5. The alpha version does support only .mov to mpeg-2. Soon it will also handle .avi divx to mpeg-2. You could use Divx Doctor II on the avi and convert the .mov container though. To play mpeg-2 you need VLC or the Quicktime mpeg-2 player component.
