I'm not having any luck with creating a menu with MissingMenuGenerator. One thing I noticed was that I do not get an "M" in the left hand column next to my jpeg file as shown in the screenshot in the directions.
Does that, in and of itself, give any clue as to what I am doing wrong?

Have you tried with a different program?
VCD Builder?
It goes very well and it is very easy.

I too have used VCD Builder, it is an excellent package, but it does not seem to be compatible with mpeg2 & SVCD.
I have not been able to fix the missing "M" in the display, however it still writes the correctly coded xml file. Disapeared with OS X 10.1.5 update.
MDS:Your post says you are using a jpeg, this must be a typo, as only mpegs are supported.
You can use MissingMpegTools or MissingMpegSlideshow to generate mpeg stills from any QT supported image type for use as a still menus screen.
If you still have problems, please email me a copy of the xml file that does not work.
