Morning (its a late night for me)

I've just finished doing a capture of the VHS movie, Jeepers Creepers
and movie is in good quality, and ZERO frame drops, using AVI_IO.

The problem is, of the 48 segmented AVI's I can't feed 47 into an AVS
script because the capture ran out of HD space, (but got the whole movie)
    w/ a fatal error.

    VDUB:
Each one has to go through a Reconstructing missing index block
But, all the clips do play fine. The process for each one is time consuming.
...couple of minutes on some that I tested on.

Is there a way to do this in one process, or do I have to Reconstruct each
one and then SAVE AS a new name. Cause, if I have to do that, then I
may as well re-capture the VHS again, as I have NO more space left to
    do all this.

So, what can I do to have all my 48 clips (minus 1) feed into an AVS script
and fed into VDUB (as I always do this) and ten frameserve into TMPG? ? ?

    Thanks for any good response.
    Good night.

    Evening.

    kj,
nah, no tanx. This is partly a hobby - I have no need for divX or any
other format from KAZZA or elsewheres.
I buy the movies, and archive them to CD in CVD format, etc. Anyways...

I guess no one has an answer. So, I'll take that as a "not possible!!"
I'm going to re-capture the whole thing again another day maybe, when
I have the time or something.

    Thanks anyways.

Yes but you have 48 faulty files missing index blocks, why not just join 2 of them, then you have 47 to use how you want.

Its all very well having a hobby but when you produce something that does not come anywhere near as good as what you can download then its time to give it up.

For some reason you seam to think that people don't buy these downloaded movies ?, the word you are looking for is "Sharing" I buy Shrek and someone else buys Jeeprs Creepers, and we share with each other.

There is a band of people out there who don't share at all, leechers are quite common. However it takes all sorts !!

Just for the record, I have over 300+ DVD's I have bought, and am quite happy to share them with anyone. Tapes don't even come close to the quality of a DivX DVD rip > Capture

Its a shame your not interested, as the download would be far superior to anything you made with a VHS and a capture card.
